Parmley AirHeLo

The AirHeLo's patented twin-hull design and state-of-the-art renewable energy power systems and avionics technologies make it the most innovative lighter-than-air technology under development today.

The need for more energy efficient, non-polluting methods of moving cargo and passengers is driving the advanced airship industry. Airships will perform functions that are not possible by helicopters and fixed wing aircraft more efficiently.

The AirHeLo is designed to utilize thin film photovoltaic solar to produce its own electricity and hydrogen fuel.

The AirHeLo will be produced in three sizes. The unmanned remote control unit will carry sensors and cameras for surveillance, security, and communications. The Medium Lift AirHeLo will be capable of carrying up to four tons of passengers or cargo. The Heavy Lift AirHeLo will be capable of lifting ISO shipping containers and passengers and transporting them from point to point without the need for airports, rail road terminals, truck terminals, highways, and sea ports. All using one tenth the amount of energy required by conventional transport.

TEECO International is planning to debut the AirHelo publicly in 2009 with a world record Green Energy Cross-Country Challenge flight that will start in Santa Monica California and stop at renewable energy and transportation events across the country and in Washington DC.
